(1) Laser mixture:
Common laser mixtures include helium neon laser mixture, carbon dioxide laser mixture, krypton fluorine laser mixture, sealed beam laser mixture, and excimer laser mixture.
(2) Mixed gas for special instruments:
Common special instrument mixtures include PR gas (P-10 gas), Q quenching gas, Geiger gas, tissue equivalent gas, nuclear radiation counter tube gas, proportional counter tube gas, electron capture mixture, FID combustion gas, spark chamber mixture, spectroscopic mixture, and chromatograph carrier gas.
(3) Welding mixture:
The commonly used welding mixtures in industry can be roughly divided into three categories: binary mixtures, ternary mixtures, and quaternary mixtures. Commonly used binary mixtures include Ar-He, Ar-N2, Ar-H2, Ar-O2, Ar-CO2, N2-H2, CO2-O2, etc; Commonly used ternary mixtures include Ar-He-N2, Ar-He-N2, Ar-He-O2, Ar-CO2-O2, etc; Quaternary gas mixtures are used less frequently and are mainly composed of Ar, He, H2, O2, N2, CO2, etc.
(4) Electric light source mixture:
Mainly used as filling gas for incandescent lamps, special light source lamps (such as infrared, strong overflow lamps, fluorescent lamps, luminous signals, solar lamps, ozone lamps, photochemical lamps, sterilization lamps, ultraviolet lamps, glow lamps, zirconium arc lamps, halogen gas lighting lamps, etc.) and digital display tubes.
Common varieties are divided into rare gas mixture, heavy hydrogen mixture, and bulb argon mixture according to their characteristics. In order to extend the lifespan of the lighting fixtures, the purity requirement for the pure gas used in the preparation of the electric light source mixture is generally greater than 99.99%, and the content of oxidized impurities should be strictly controlled.
(5) Leak detection (alarm) mixture:
There are various types and specifications of mixed gases used for special leak detection. Common categories include helium, halogenated carbon, sulfur hexafluoride, and krypton-85.
(6) Standard calibration gas:
Application of standard calibration gases:
- Application in gas standardization research;
- Application in gas product quality supervision and quality control;
- Calibration and calibration of instruments and meters;
- Atmospheric environment monitoring cannot be separated from standard calibration gases;
- Application in healthcare and clinical laboratory testing;
- In terms of evaluating analytical methods.
(7) Breathing mixture:
An oxygen helium (neon) mixture composed of 1% -20% O2 and helium or neon, mainly used as artificial air for deep-sea diving operations and spaceflight, for divers or astronauts to breathe. In addition, this mixture can also be used for the treatment of patients with respiratory diseases such as asthma, throat diseases, pneumothorax, and lung diseases, as well as for high-pressure therapy in general patients.
(8) Mixed gas for electronic industry:
The mixed gas used in the electronic industry refers to a special type of electronic mixed gas used in processes such as vapor phase epitaxial growth, chemical vapor deposition, doping, etching, and ion implantation in large-scale integrated circuits (LSI), ultra large scale integrated circuits (VLSI), and semiconductor device manufacturing. There are mainly epitaxial (growth) mixed gases, chemical vapor deposition mixed gases, doping mixed gases, etching mixed gases, and other electronic mixed gases.
