Recently, Linde Engineering has successfully signed an agreement with SAIPEM&CLOUGH joint venture in Australia to provide air separation and nitrogen washing equipment for the largest urea project in the area. The project equipment for this cooperation may be one of the largest single scale air separation units in Australia and the largest single scale nitrogen washing unit in the world.

The urea project located in Kalata, Western Australia, was built with an investment of $4.5 billion by Perdaman to convert natural gas into urea for the production of fertilizers for the next generation of food. The project will be undertaken by a joint venture between SAIPEM from Italy and CLOUGH from Australia, responsible for the engineering design, procurement, and construction of the entire project.
