Recently, the 101st Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Sixth Institute independently developed China's first 100 kilogram vehicle mounted liquid hydrogen system "Track 1000", which was released in Beijing.
This product is one of the core equipment of liquid hydrogen heavy-duty trucks, which will help hydrogen powered heavy-duty trucks break through 1000 kilometers of driving range. It is a major technological breakthrough in China's application of liquid hydrogen in the transportation field.

It is reported that the system adopts a forward design and modular concept, and through deep optimization and integration of the storage, supply, and refueling process, it has constructed five major modules: liquid hydrogen cylinder, valve box, vaporization buffer, control, and load-bearing structure. All components are domestically matched, and core technology is independently controllable.

Compared to the previous generation product, the "Track 1000" has a 20% increase in effective volume and a hydrogen carrying capacity of up to 100 kilograms under the same external dimensions. The mass hydrogen storage density of the liquid hydrogen cylinder reaches 12%, and the overall system hydrogen storage density exceeds 10%. Through product price limit design, optimized manufacturing processes, and strengthened supply chain management, the cost of this product has significantly decreased. After mass production and manufacturing, the cost is expected to further decrease significantly.
