In recent years, cryogenic liquid storage tank market has become increasingly prosperous. The sales of Liquid Oxygen Storage Tank, liquid argon storage tank, liquid nitrogen storage tank, liquid carbon Dioxide tank, and Lng Cryogenic Tank have increased significantly. The production, storage, and transportation of cryogenic liquids are inseparable from insulated storage tanks, and they are installed and used in large numbers.

       Spot inspection of cryogenic liquid storage tanks:

  When the cryogenic Storage Tank is in working condition, there are potential hazards such as leakage, overpressure, explosion, etc. If the hidden dangers before these accidents are not discovered and dealt with in time, serious accidents will develop. Therefore, it is very important to formulate a complete inspection system and implement it carefully to ensure the safe operation of the storage tank especially vacuum perlite storage tank. The daily inspection of the industrial storage tanks mainly includes follwing contents:

      1.Whether the valve and pipeline are leaking, and if the shell is frosted or sweating.

      2. Whether all valves are in normal open and close state.

      3. Whether the instrument (level gauge, pressure gauge) is working normally, and whether the DCS display parameters are consistent with the on-site primpary meter.  

     4. Whether the pressure of the storage tank is normal. When the pressure is close to or equal to the maximum pressure, the vent valve should be opened to relieve the pressure.    

     5. Whether the liquid filling rate exceeds 95%.

     6. Whether the sealing gas is normal for the atmospheric powder insulation storage tank. (50mmH2O)

     7. It is strictly forbidden to place flammable and explosive materials and all sundries near the liquid oxygen storage tank.

     8. Fireworks are strictly prohibited near the liquid oxygen cryogenic tank.

     9. The acetylene and total hydrocarbon content in the liquid oxygen in the storage tank shall be tested at least once a week, and the acetylene content shall not exceed 0.1 ×10-6(v/v), when exceeding, liquid oxygen must be discharged in time for replacement treatment.       

     10. Whether the cryogenic liquid oxygen tank is well grounded.

     11. If it is not used for long time, ensure that there is a certain amount of liquid in the tank or avoid re-cooling the replacement tank which would take a long time.

     12. Whether the outriggers are damaged, whether the foundation sinks, tilts, or cracks, whether the fastening bolts are in good condition, and whether the tank body is deformed.

    13. Check the vacuum of the storage tank regularly.
