Recently Zhejiang Dachuan Air Separation Equipment Co., Ltd. was busy. Under the movement of two large cranes, a 68-meter-long, 8.2-meter-wide, and 7.4-meter-high cold box unit of the air separation plant was slowly placed in the cargo ship.
This is the 60,000 air separation cold box of Turkey, designed and manufactured by Zhejiang Dachuan of SASPG. This cold box is the largest Air Separation Plant assembled by the company so far, with a contract value of more than 300 Million Yuan(RMB). The goods will be sent to Shanghai Port and finally to Turkey. This is the first order exported by the company in the new 2021, and it is also our country’s 1st set of 60,000 air separation unit shipped as a whole.
Bold Innovation to save construction time
“In the past, large-scale air separation equipment was shipped to the project site for assembly after we produced all the parts. Generally 20 or 30 installers going forward together, and it takes at least two months to go back and forth.” In the project, Dachuan Air Separation made bold innovations and manufactured assembled equipment in the factory workshop, which better guarantees the quality and technical specifications of equipment production, and can avoid the limitations of on-site assembly site and construction technology, greatly saving project construction time.
Show the company’s strong “Made in China” strength
This is also the largest overall air separation plant in Zhejiang Dachuan so far. In order to facilitate this whole set delivery, the technicians thrashed out a shipping plan before shipment. Before hoisting, the equipment needs to be turned 90 degrees to stand up. According to Wu Fucheng, deputy general manager of our company, “The weight of each part of the 68-meter equipment is different, and accurate calculation is the key, When hoisting, it is necessary to carefully consider the lifting capacity, the size of the ship, and the locating of the lifting lugs, operators, etc.”
After careful arrangements, the company finally successfully completed the cold box hoisting work, which can be a sample of the same size cold box in the future, and also showing our strong “Made in China” Strength.
